My name is Melissa, and I’m a 31-year-old former Canadian expat. For almost eight years, I lived in the mountainous city of Bogotá, Colombia — an experience that has inspired continuous reflection on concepts such as home, family and human connection.
I am thrilled to be teaming up with ButterTree, a company committed to deepening personal relationships, to articulating the seemingly ineffable bonds we have with our loved ones. More than just words on a blanket, each carefully crafted phrase is an aspiration, an incantation and, most importantly, a declaration of love to those who matter most.
I wholeheartedly believe that intimacy goes beyond physical touch: words and stories have the power to travel through time, across distances, provide a window to even the most singular experiences.
