Gift for a gardener.

This is going to be a gift and I was pleased at the size. I thought it would be smaller. I'm glad I had Amazon put it in their box instead of shipping in the original packaging to prevent getting scratched up in shipping.

The solar gnome is a great garden or patio addition. It can be placed on a table with an umbrella and still receive enough sunlight to stay on for hours into the night. The gnome has survived a hot summer and is still shining brightly into the fall. The construction of this gnome is really good. At first, when taking him out of the box, I thought he felt a bit light and fragile. He ended up being sturdy enough to be placed on a table and withstand some minor bumps and repositioning. The lantern that the gnome is holding is really meant to be ornamental. It can’t really light up a large area or space, but it looks really cool at night. The gnome’s hat is also pretty cute and has a fake grass kind of texture. This gnome is a really good addition to anyone's garden or patio. I would imagine that this would be extremely popular with gnome lovers as well.

This little guy is definitely sturdy, I have had him outside on my deck since the day I received him. The little lantern lights up at night and he looks like he did the very first day I got him. Has been out in lots of rain too and no problems. I would say he stands about 10 inches tall in total. He matches my green house and just looks super cute. Great product
